Wayne Parsons is a director, choreographer and movement director with over 15 years of experience working in the dance and theatre industries.
His company Wayne Parsons Dance presents narrative dance-theatre works that are underpinned by a script. The aim of the company is to bring closer the disciplines of dance and theatre by creating works that are truly cross-disciplinary in approach to both the making and performance of narrative work. By harnessing a sophisticated physicality that is world class and combining this with new writing, Wayne tells contemporary stories that reflect the world we live in today.
Collaboration is key to the work Wayne Parsons Dance produces.  Movement, new writing, stage design and sound, all come together to create a truly multi-disciplinary world resulting in a layered approach to narrative that sees the language of the word and the language of movement seamlessly combined.
Wayne is an Associate Artist at Swindon Dance
