Choreography

Wayne creates narrative driven dance-theatre works by blending a sophisticated physicality that is world class with new writing to tell stories that connect with audiences. He collaborates with people who have an interest in visceral story-telling. Through movement, spoken text, stage design and sound his works create a truly multi-disciplinary and layered approach to narrative.
Starting with a script, Wayne crafts movement that examines the spoken word—revealing through movement the subtext and the unsaid. By bringing closer the worlds of theatre and dance he aims to produce work that pushes the boundaries of what dance-theatre can look like.
Wayne is an Associate Artist at Swindon Dance.

Movement Direction

Wayne’s work for his company has a strong focus on narrative and text and this line of enquiry means he regularly seeks work as a Movement Director for plays. Wayne is represented by Kirsten Wright at Amanda Howard Associates.
