Wayne Parsons Dance

Out Late is the second production created by Wayne Parsons in collaboration with writer Ankur Bahl.
It follows their successful inaugural work Vestige  (★★★★ The Guardian)
Blending virtuosic choreography with a compelling script, Out Late will be performed by some of the UK’s most celebrated dance-theatre artists.
This production promises to be an experience like no other where dance and theatre are seamlessly combined to reimagine one of the UK’s favourite genres: crime drama.
Out Late follows fiercely-closeted Sebastian as he falls in love with ex-army chef Vinnie, a charming but violent ‘out-and-proud’ gay man. Sebastian tries to hide his new relationship whilst his controlling ex-wife Fifi secretly watches them fall in love, seething. When Vinnie is murdered, what unfolds is a twisted story of jealousy, shame and revenge

Out Late has been co-commission by The Place and Swindon Dance
